An anterior stromal opacity was treated, implanting a foldable artificial cornea (KeraKlear) into a 400 microns depth, 8 mm diameter stromal pocket made using a Z6 Ziemer femtosecond laser.

Patient improved her vision from 20/200 to 20/70. At this time, 4 months post op no adverse reactions or corneal complication were observed.
