Lee Goldberg
Mr. Goldberg has over 24 years of experience litigating intellectual property matters before juries and judges in various federal and state courts throughout the United States and at the International Trade Commission. Mr. Goldberg has tried utility/design patent, trademark, trade dress, unfair competition, false advertising and copyright cases.
He has also argued before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
As lead trial counsel, Mr. Goldberg's recent successes have included a $10 million jury verdict in Marshall, Texas, and a Louisiana state court jury that returned a verdict in favor of Mr. Goldberg’s client. The judge then awarded Mr. Goldberg's client its attorney’s fees and costs, and entered a worldwide injunction. Mr. Goldberg has also served as lead trial counsel for a Fortune 50 company in patent, trade dress, and unfair competition litigations in the Central District of California and the Southern District of New York. These cases also settled very favorably to Mr. Goldberg’s client.
Throughout his career, Mr. Goldberg has acted as a consultant for various companies in all areas of intellectual property. These matters have included a wide variety of products and technologies including medical and mechanical devices, pharmaceuticals, computer software, and electronic devices.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Goldberg received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering.
