KeraMed Inc. is represented by James Heslin JD, head of the medical device practice at Townsend, Townsend and Crew, Palo Alto, California. Townsend was named the best medical device intellectual property practice by American Lawyer Magazine. Patent applications for KeraMed devices have been submitted to the United States Patent and Trade Mark Office. We have also filed the corresponding international applications. In total KeraMed Inc. has filed over 20 U.S. and international patent applications related to its products and has exclusive licenses to key patents related to the use of the new generation polymers for corneal implants.
